Welwyn & Hatfield Group

Welcome to the Welwyn & Hatfield Group

The Welwyn & Hatfield (formally the Hatfield group) was established in Nov 2015 and has been running for just over 5 years. As of April 2021, the Welwyn & Hatfield Group has held a total of 67 meetings, both face to face and virtual during the pandemic.

The group have a tree dedicated in Heartwood Forest, Sandridge, Hertfordshire, in memory of those lost and for those left behind. They have an annual group walk every November to Heartwood Forest, unfortunately this was unable to take place in 2020 due to Covid-19 but hope to resume when the restrictions allow.

Volunteers Sheila Stapleton, Sian Fensom, Kim Scully, Chris Pringis and Maddie Phillips are waiting to give all those over the age of 18, impacted by a suicide loss, a warm and supportive welcome.

Chris and Maddie are planning to set up another group in Hertfordshire in the near future.
