Working Through Social Distancing Together
Although we aren’t able to offer face to face support groups at this time, there are still many ways we can support you……and support each other.
Although we have suspended our face to face support groups in line with Government advice, many groups are now offering virtual, online meetings to provide vital peer led support. Use the Find a support group tool to find out if your local group can offer this service or contact the national office who will provide details of a virtual support group that can help, regardless of geographical location.
Group facilitators from your local groups are continuing to respond to calls and emails and will answer any queries you may have.
National Helpline – 0300 111 5065
We have extended our National Helpline to 7 days per week, 9am till 9pm to help combat increased isolation during the pandemic.
Write to email@example.com and one of our volunteers will respond to your email within 24 hours.
Online Community Forum
Our online community forum offers peer-to-peer support for those impacted by suicide. It is accessible 24 hours a day and takes just a few minutes to apply.
Our social media channels provide a sense of community and are updated regularly with physical and mental well-being resources, charity news, fundraisers and awareness events.
Many people find reading about the experiences of others helps them feel less alone and understand more about what they are experiencing. In our Resources for survivors section of this website, you will find a selection of resources about bereavement. It also features books, poetry & prose (written by survivors) and films and videos which many people find helpful and reassuring.

Supporting Children with Death & Bereavement (Coronavirus)
The current situation we are in with the COVID-19/Coronavirus is unusual and can feel quite frightening for all ages.
The impact of this situation is likely to change how we deal with death for some time. This leaflet produced by Cornwall Bereavement Service explains ways to best support children and young people through bereavement.
